Everyone falls in love sooner or later. But it's harder for some than others. Sometimes, love stories aren't simple or easy. Especially when your life's complicated enough to begin with.
Michael is every girl's dream come true. Except Jamie's. Tempers will rise, personalities will clash, and sparks will fly. Whether anything will be left standing afterward, nobody knows.

This is one of my oldest stories. The "oldest" credit actually goes to Tonie and Aaron's story, but that was a far more typical story than this one. Anyway, this story has undergone so many different versions that I've lost track. The current version, however, is much closer to the original one that I had planned but never written before since it dealt with darker themes than I was familiar with when I started it (I was only twelve years old). Although this first part (which I just CANNOT find a title for) is very light and humorous, it simply serves to set the stage for the more serious part of the story later on.
Michael, for example, is shown here as a typical adolescent with a heap of angst and insecurities. The angst and insecurities don't entirely go away later but he reacts differently to it as he grows up.
The story may be a little simplistic and quite idealistic, but that's precisely what I was hoping for. The setting is also very generic, so as to make it easier to relate to. I hope. There will be more characters introduced later and a deeper plot and more about Michael's "missing" days as well as the circumstances surrounding the death of his mother. For now, it's just happy romantic fluff. Well, almost.
